Akasha, is the theme of the 1998 CB poster.The influences for this range from the Character of Akasha,to planetary Allignment and the readings of Edgar Cacye.Akasha is one of my favorite characters, in this piece i have her rising from the grave. Specifically the Supposibly hidden room underneath the sphinx in Egypt.the three bodys in the far top leftcorner represent the 3 who shall rise. The sarcophagus and likeness of akasha had some inspiration by the movie the Fifth Element and actress Milla Jovovich. Without knowing i read a myth of the Fifth Element months later which to surprise i found out that the name of the Fifth Element in the myth was Akasha, wierd . There is Also a lot of Massonic references in this poster because the ball was held at the Massonic temple. The 1998 poster is my favorite one out of the Three i have done so far. Below is the Special Variation (skull print) of 100 print featuring a decayed skul face.
