coffin cut with some with a ruffed edge to give it an aged look. Some were cut regular. within the poster there are 13 spiders well hidden.

Here it is, the so called famed Bauhaus poster. My whole approch to this project was simple, i wanted to design a poster that a fan (like myself) would appreciate. The classis coffin shape was the best way to do it. The design itself was inspired by the movie "THE HUNGER",starring David Bowie. The Movie opens with Bauhaus's famed song "Bela Lugosi's Dead".Thought out the beginning of the film you see Peter Murphy's (vocalist of Bauhaus) Silhouette like a Bat. This whole poster is like a tribute to that film and the song "Bela Lugosi's Dead".

Below is my personal bauhaus coffin poster framed in a frame that i designed and built myself.The frame is modeled after a real 1800 style coffin. When closed (left pic) it can be locked and peter's faced can be viewed through the cross cut opening. To the right is the frame open .Both the frame and the poster work together as a beatiful piece of art.
