Giant
Spiders Prepare to take over. This is the theme of this third poster
i did for the Misfits. Image is inspired by the song "lost in Space"
featured on there cd Famous Monsters. I tried to go for the 70's b-movie
horror look on this one, using the look of an old eerire / creepy warren
magazine cover. The song is really cool. i wanted to capture the same
energenic imagery as the song does with sound. Poster features all four
Misfits attacking ful force these space spiders. from first glance,
band member Doyle did not like the idead of himself being the one attacked
by the spider. Actually Doyle is not being attacked, Since he is so
massive,he is attacking the spider head on to break its neck. A lot
of work and deatail was put into this one since i like the song and
their Music. The Picture to the
right is a picture of the Misfits and the Crimson Ghost with me with
some of my artwork. the t-shirt in the background Jerry and Doyle are
holding up is one of the ones i designed for them.
