The War of the Gargantuans tour
1996 with White Zombie and Eye Hate God, July 11th,
at the UNO arena, New Orleans, LA Pantera is King of
Pissed off metal. This poster was well influenced by Phil's hardcore/
black metal attitude. The posters imagery is heavy of Lord of the
Rings also. I wanted to Draw a cool picture of a Black Rider. the
theme of pissed / evil is represented,Screams and teeth.The background
is similar to the desolot background i did on the Ministry
/Young gods 1996 poster. I wanted both Creaturtes to be in the
same world. The production of this poster art was similar in art i
do for the House of Shock. it was like working on a side project.
I know the hip music now a days is limp Dickles and all other rip
off styles like that. At least Pantera remains true to their roots
to kick ass.At the least they don't need cool looking fubu wear and
trendy gangster guitar riffs to attract attention . Same here with
me i do bands that i like and know the music, unlike some other poster
artist ,who we all know, will just do it because the band name is
huge and not give a rats axx about their artwork. Stay true to what
you beleve in and you will succeed. Hey Ross think about that and
