Slayer , kings of trash. They were well known in the late 80's for there heavy Satanic imagery and fast songs like "Angel of death". This Gig poster was the first time Slayer has ever Played New orleans since they have been banned from here in the late 80's for beening acussed of preaching Satanism. I felt that this poster should have an apocaliptic feel to it with the Y2k scare at hand and End of Times Prophecy. I designed this poster to look like an ancient scroll ( like a dead sea scroll).The four Horsemen of the apocalipse ride over the city of New Orleans holding the sealed fate of our city.On the poster there is a hidden ancient text that reveals a secret message for those who are clever enough to decipher it. A total Doomsday poster for a Doomsday show that finally happened
